About this position

This internship is designed as an introductory learning and observation program for students who are curious about how people collaborate in organizations, how workflows function, and how communication and teamwork take place in a professional environment.

The internship takes place in Bali (Indonesia) and offers not only educational insights but also a valuable international and intercultural experience. Participants experience a professional work environment in an international context and gain insights into collaboration across cultural and language boundaries.

The focus is not on performing a fixed job role or delivering measurable results. Instead, the goal is to experience a professional environment, observe workplace cultures, engage in conversations, and develop an initial understanding of how individual contributions become part of a larger organizational structure.

Daily communication takes place primarily in English, allowing participants to use the language in real professional situations and gradually gain confidence in communicating in English.

The program emphasizes observation, participation, reflection, expression, and communication in a supportive and age-appropriate environment.

What to expect

During the internship, you will gradually be introduced to everyday professional life in an international working environment in Bali. Your activities are intentionally designed as learning experiences and include, among others:

  • Observing workflows, teamwork, and communication in the office environment

  • Participating in discussions, meetings, and informal exchange sessions

  • Actively using English in daily communication

  • Asking questions, listening actively, and contributing ideas

  • Learning about different roles and departments within an international organization

  • Engaging in conversations with staff members from different cultural backgrounds

  • Documenting your impressions and learning experiences in a daily reflection session in English

  • Contributing to a small accompanying project from a student perspective

  • Preparing and presenting your findings in a final presentation in English

Throughout the program, the guiding principle is: curiosity is more important than prior knowledge, learning is more important than performance, and asking questions is strongly encouraged.
