This Home for children is an organization that hosts 42 children from 4 to 12 years old. It counts with 6 houses, each one of them has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, dining room, a small social area, laundry room and a garden. The communal area includes a psychological clinic, administration office, multipurpose room, cellar, kitchen, pantry and ample recreational space. In each house live 8 children and a mom who is called “Auntie”. The Home is staffed by a Director, Manager, Psychologist, Educator, Social Worker, Aunties (Moms), Physician, CPA, Counsel, Cook, Concierge, Assistant Chef, Assistant in Maintenance and Support Fees. Furthermore, care volunteers can add their support in a public institution, which is administered by the "Board for Children and Teenagers". The organization aims mainly to protect orphaned children, or children who belongs to homes with problems, family breakdown and exposed to physical and psychological abuse. Children receive support and they are prepared to return to their homes, when their families can offer a safe environment for a normal growing of the children. The home has 17 children in total, 5 children go to the school near the home. In some cases children are given up for adoption, when the people have all legal requirements.

Care volunteers add their support in different areas:

• Cleaning and seeding the garden
• Reforestation of native trees
• Rehabilitation of houses, in work such as painting, cleaning, etc.
• Rehabilitation of the dining room furniture
• Performing arts and recreational activities for children during holidays. Participation in preparing cookies, cakes, etc.
• To help in the area of education by teaching English, arts, etc.
• Supporting to the children with their homework in the afternoons

The children go to the school in the mornings from 07h30 to 12h30. Children receive feeding in the home and scholar support with their homework in the afternoon. Volontäre werden außerdem Freizeitaktivitäten mit den Kindern planen und durchführen wie gemeinsames Backen oder spielerisch Englisch Unterrichten, sowie organiseren sie mit den Kindern kleine Theaterstücke. Auch kümmern sich die Freiwilligen um die Unterstützung der Kinder bei den Hausaufgaben, die auch natürlich auch erledigt werden müssen
