Hello Australia! : Sydney's Accommodation Information
Through this article, we are trying to help you get a little more insight into accommodation in Australia, before your stay!
Upon request your program coordinator in Sydney can arrange a furnished room in a shared flat or a homestay, living in a host family. It is up to you, which one is more comfortable and convenient for you. Usually it takes us up to three weeks to organize nice accommodation.
You can inform us about your requirement regarding accommodation on our application form. With your details in mind we will try to find suitable accommodation, and we will provide you with various offers you can choose from. As soon as you have decided which of the accommodations you would like to reserve, we`ll contact the landlord and sort everything out for you.
Our competent team will spare you a lot of research work as well as the uncertainty of not seeing the place. Before making you any offers for accommodation we will visit the places to make sure the landlord is not fooling anybody. There will be no bad surprises upon your arrival that way. Before you arrive, we`ll send you the landlord's confirmation of renting the room/flat.
We would like to inform you that there are reports of accommodation scams in Australia, especially, if you book online. In many cases you need to pay a deposit upfront. After having arrived the landlord is never available or on holiday. Choosing the additional accommodation service we offer, you can be sure to be placed in comfortable and safe accommodations, which have been used by our former volunteers.

In all internship cities you can chose to live in furnished rooms in shared flats:

1 or 2 bedrooms
