Study in Bali

Our study program in Bali welcomed students from the Netherlands and Austria for the welcome week of our Tropical Coastal Ecology & Community Based Management study program. The students were greeted with an immersive five-day introduction to Balinese culture, environmental conservation, and community engagement. The participants explored local traditions, met community leaders, and took part in hands-on activities that deepened their understanding of sustainability and cultural heritage

The program featured visits to traditional markets, cooking classes, coral restoration efforts, and outdoor adventures, allowing students to connect with Bali’s people and environment. Through activities such as crafting canang sari offerings, scuba diving at Biorock reefs, and stand-up paddling along the coastline, they gained meaningful insights into conservation and local customs.
