Attractions in Shanghai : Never Get Bored!

Are you traveling abroad to Shanghai? Don't forget to visit our recommended attractions!

Located on the East Coast of China, the city forms two parts - the old Shanghai "Puxi" and the modern "Pudong" with its high-rise buildings, airports and shipping ports. Both parts are connected by the Nanpu Bridge and the Yangpu Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in the world. Shanghai was originally a small, cozy fishing village that has developed into a developing metropolis over the centuries - the “Gateway to the World”.

Longhua Tempel

A magnificent Buddhist temple complex in Shanghai reveals itself to you with the Longhua Temple or "Temple of the Dragon Flower". Founded in the 3rd year after Christ, the temple itself consists of five halls with many laughing Buddhas made of gold. Calm and serenity spread through the praying monks and their chantings.

Colorful Panoramic View

The "Bund" is a waterfront promenade located directly on the Huangpu River, where historical buildings such as the British Consulate and the Peace Hotel from the past centuries line up. From here you have a fantastic view of the modern buildings on the opposite side, which shine in many bright colors at night.

Wai Tan, Bund

Wai tan, or Bund, is Shanghai's most prominent and extravagant district on the waterfront along the Yangtze River, where glamorous restaurants, bars, and international boutiques are on display. The shops and arcades are located in old buildings that still testify to the pompous colonial times. As the main trading center, the first office was opened here in 1946. The street is a must for all visitors to Shanghai and an architectural highlight.
