Itinerary of your stay abroad

Day 1: Arrival & Welcome Dinner
Welcome to NZ! Meet your group and tour guide, grab your SIM card, and kick off the trip with a fun welcome dinner at a local pub.


Day 2: Info Session & Auckland City Tour
Get insider tips on travelling and working in NZ during our info session. Then, explore the highlights of Auckland on a guided city tour.


Day 3: Bay of Islands Adventure Begins
Road trip to the stunning Bay of Islands with a scenic stop at Whangarei Falls. Check into your beachside accommodation and enjoy Paihia.


Day 4: Island Cruise & Dolphin Spotting
Swim or hike on Urupukapuka Island, then cruise to the iconic Hole in the Rock – keep your eyes out for dolphins along the way!


Day 5: Free Time & Return to Auckland
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Paihia before heading back to Auckland. Evening free to explore the city with your travel crew.


Day 6: Devonport Day Trip & Party Night
Ferry to Devonport for beaches, volcano views and cafés. At night, join a legendary Auckland bar crawl with your group.


Day 7: Travel & Work Planning Session

Your accommodation

During the trip, you’ll stay in some of the North Island’s best backpacker hostels, hand-picked for their great vibe and central location. In Auckland, your accommodation is right in the heart of the city — perfect for exploring! In Paihia, you’ll stay just steps from the beach. You’ll share an 8- to 10-bed dorm room with other travelers, usually from your group. Ideal for solo travelers or friends joining together! You can pre-book extra nights in Auckland if you’re arriving early or want to stay longer — just add them to your booking or get in touch with us!
