Christmas in Bali! Beautiful Time Spent in The Island of Gods

How do you actually celebrate Christmas in Bali? Somehow everything is missing. Cookies, mulled wine ... not to mention a fir tree.

Our volunteers Nadja and Jessica, however, taught us better and brought Santa Claus into the house with their wonderful performance with the preschool in Nusa Dua. In the church of Nusa Dua.

It was simply a feast for the eyes to see the little ones show their version of the Christmas story. Afterward, according to Balinese tradition, there was still delicious nasi with Ayam and wonderfully fresh watermelon and cakes for all invited guests. Thanks to the fundraiser that Nadja and Jessica had previously launched, Santa Claus did not have to be stingy and was able to give something to every single child. There were sweets, printed towels and much more not only for all school children, but also for the orphans who were visiting.

A real festival!

Thank you so much, Nadja and Jessica!
